Tori & I started it for 2 main reasons:
We wanted to work together again, having met working at a company where Tori was the HR Director and I was... trouble. Don’t worry, we’re now married
We felt we could provide genuine value and service in an industry that is often devoid of both.
We had both worked at places that spoke of ‘integrity' and 'customer service’, but it was usually BS. We saw Tomahawk as our opportunity to put our money where our mouth is and walk the walk.
Now we’re a couple of years in and I’m proud of what we've achieved. We stood firm to our beliefs. We kept our overheads lean and our processes efficient, enabling us to offer a boutique service that is surprisingly affordable. We partnered in the growth of inspiring businesses and have been selective with our engagements; unafraid to decline work, and even refunded a client because we felt our principals were not aligned. We defined what we stand for (Simplicity, Transparency, Efficiency, Partnership) and we maintained that in the fabric of everything we do. We operate on the basis that there’s nothing hidden. Hell, we even put our fees on our website - which recruitment agency does that?
We’re not salesy, we don’t cold call, and we don’t ‘push’ for business, opting more for organic growth via referrals. We knew that providing an uncommon level of service would result in the growth of our business.
Simply put, when we speak of integrity, we live by it.
